This news has been around for awhile, but for those of you who are not in the know a tribes-like MMO is currently in development.

The game in question is Global Agenda, i dont know how they describe it, but it is essentialy an MMOFPS with "RPG elements" by that it means you get to upgrade the tech you use. The main focus of the game is PvP, i cant even find a mention of NPC missions on their site, but im sure there will have to be some sort NPC missions in the earlier stages of the game.
There are 4 classes in the game:
Assault: Which seems comparable with the Heavy Armor in Tribes Vengeance that we're all used to. They specialise in heavy weaponry
Recon: Those of you who played Tribes 2 might like this one, it is a stealth class, which mean it has the ability to cloak its self.
Medic: Do i realy have to explain this one?
Robotic: This class is able to place deployables (turrets and forcefields) and take control of remote assault vehicles.
The games artwork looks very much like that of TV, which isnt surprising, considering that Global Agenda is running on the Unreal 3 Engine, Tribes Vengeance runs on the "Vengeance Engine", which is the Unreal Engine 2.5.
Team based gameplay with JetPacks, could this be the Tribes MMO I (and maybe you) have been wating for?
